2nd son on his way to disney world for senior trip 4 days
3rd son gets to be an only child for a few days Sure he would consider this priceless. Now if we could just get some spring weather in NY this mom would be very happy. Cold and rainy today
I'm here........alright better late than never :-)
This has been the week from H*LL at work. I need longer than a 2 day weekend to recope.
Love the beautiful flowers. I am buying some plants this weekend but only working in the front flower beds!!
Bryters...will this be your 1st grandbaby?
Had a good run with my daughter:-) Have a relaxing evening and talk to ya'll tomorrow.
bryters-were they kimberly queens? i tried that too one time but didn't cut it back before i brought it in and yes a mess. grandmaw kept her's this winter and it's doing pretty good. but those dern Bostons and their constant shedding drove me NUTS!!!
i love the hostas too but don't have enough shade for them.
congrats on the new grandbaby---keep us posted. boy or girl?
Connie I have my in planters so I can move them around if I need to. They like direct sun but if the summer heat is too much for them I can move them to a partly shady area.
Thanks Marine_Navy mom and yes a wisteria will get out of hand quickly and it attracts the bees. I am not sure how many azaleas, wisteria, dogwoods we have (way too many to keep count of) but when they are in bloom there is a steady buzz going on in our yard from all the bees.
In Texas today we started out at 55 degrees and the high is going to be 68. This is a cool front in Texas.
Donna that picture was taken 4 days ago and Connie that is wisteria peeking out among the azaleas. Marine_navy mom how cool that would be to release butterflies.
Gerber daisies are a favorite of mine. Beautiful blooms!
Matt's mom and Marine_Navy--wow what beautiful pictures!!!
Matt's mom-do i see a bit of wisteria there too? can't wait for our azaleas to bloom...any day now!!
also for direct sun....i have very good luck with shasta daisies...just remember to keep your daisies cut to encourage lateral blooming!! cut them back in the Fall and the short leaves stay green all winter here and shoot back up in Spring. in one small daisy patch i have picked 3 doz. at one time!!
gosh that butterfly is beautiful!!!
fyi-it's been 5 days since i have spotted mr. sneaky....i am totally bummed!!! i actually miss him!! hehehehehe
