Good afternoon everyone! My fiance graduates bootcamp on 4/26 and then will be in P'cola for Aschool in his letter he mentioned that his job would be ATI. Can someone help me get some info on this? Thanks :)
Sherrill....Chief???? from your lips to God's ears!! wooo hooo MOMMA!!! that's what my Sailor wants although he talks the Warrant Offier route of which i have NO understanding at all!!!!
Sissy...well the little lass has had some ups and downs and it's required some major medication changes. i just discovered the other morning that she loves "The Price is RIght" and was mesmerized by it. I see me and my Sissy-girl dressing up like Heckle and Jeckle for the show!!!!
Sneaky Guy showed up a while back for just one or two days. We see the "Man from the Foreign Land" out walking ever so often but no real activity at his house....no strange cars. The Weirdo next door still thinks i am his BFF and i intend to make him think that as long as Weirdo Junior is there with him.
thank you Mommas!
Sherrill, Sailor Son did say when he started the PTS that normally one is turned down on the first time and that a Senior Chief and a Senior Warrant Officer (hope i got that right...their rates....but that's what i remember) told him to come straight to them if that happened.
so far his plans are to re-enlist and request sea duty again on the USS Gerald R. Ford. he wants back to back maiden deployments. he might change the plan but he's talked about this one for quite a while.
gosh i've missed you girlies!!!!!
Hey Mommas!!! well the knee surgery in the left leg is doing great! vein procedure in the right leg....i think it's going to be ok too but today i think i broke my little toe on my right foot. so now getting "said toe" into that compression hose that i must wear for two weeks will be interesting : /
looks like you are doing well. Sherrill please give us all the details on the re-enlistment ceremony....praying so hard that my Sailor gets to have one too!
Meagan my son was in Pensacola for A school then moved on to his duty station in WA for C school.
Survived our sailor's wedding on the 23rd. Horrible virus managed to work through half of the wedding party (myself included) before it was over. The wedding was planned for outside and we were not sure until right up until the time of the ceremony if it would be in our front yard like we planned or have to be moved under the reception tent because of the chance of rain. So glad the rain held off. I will post a picture of the happy couple when we get the photos back.
Meagan, not all AT's go to C school but a lot do. My daughter is at C school in Lemoore, CA and she is an ATO. The Navy paid for her to driver her truck from Pensacola to California and also money for lodging etc. C school is generally shorter than A school, and I'm not sure of all the different places they can go, I'm not even sure if Pensacola has a C school, maybe someone else can answer that. But as far as you going, it would be on your own dollar. The navy will pay for spousal moves, but only if the change of duty station is for 6 months or longer. But as far as a girlfriend, they wouldn't cover any expenses for you, and he would still have to live in the bachelor quarters on the base. Hope this helps a little, someone else can chime in if they know more.
my boyfriend told me the other day saying that he might have to go to C school after A school. he in Pensacola for A school would they move him to a new base or keep him where he is at now. i was also wondering if there is any chance that i could go with him.
