Had a snow storm wednesday night. Lot of branches down. Many people lost power again. Once more schools closed. Even I had a snow day which never happens. Glad to hear about all sailors getting to come home for the holidays. Mine is hoping to get home for thanksgiving. this will depend on the gas situation in ny. Now we are on odd and even lic.plate rationing. D-inlaw will be off of maternity leave at christmas so coming then will be out of the question

Morning All!
So great to hear about Sailors coming home for the holidays......precious time!
J called yesterday with his travel arrangements. He'll be flying to Japan on Dec 6th....I am so NOT looking forward to that.....but on the brighter side he'll be graduating in 12 days and then be home for 2 weeks so we get to celebrate Christmas early this year.

MNM - safe travels on your return home......anxious to hear about the wedding.

Have a great day ladies!

Good morning,

Daughter is taking her first electronics test today since her ATT class started this week. Said it's easy and fun.

She's coming home for 12-13 days over the holidays from Dec 23 - Jan 4-5! I'm so happy to see her and can't wait. I know it's only been a couple months since PIR when we went to Great Lakes and saw her for one afternoon, but we are all looking forward to having her home so much.

I am definitely keeping those affected by the storm in my prayers.  The news reports on the situation are heartbreaking.  I did read that the Navy is moving in to help!

Life in NY trying to get back to normal. My son still has no school. Hopefully going back on Wednesday. Now we have a major gas problem. People are waiting in line for hours to get gas. If you have a can the lines are about 2 hours long, which is shorter then waiting with your car. We are very luck to have just lost power. Whole neighborhoods have been destroyed by water and or fire. It is unreal

hi all just got power back after being out since monday afternoon. Had a wonderful visit with son,daughter-in-law and new granddaughter  She is truly a blessing. We drove home to Ny through the hurricane. It took us 91/2 hours. we just made it over the bridges to new york before they closed. glad to get home because my other two were home without lights and you know a mama bear has to be there to protect all. took me awhile to catch up here. Welcome to the new ladies and congrats mnm on the upcoming wedding

Thanks for all the information!  Very helpful.  My daughter is thinking she'll graduate ATO school somewhere in Feb-March.  She shipped to boot camp on June 20, so won't be quite a year.  I know the ATI schooling is a little bit longer, so that is probably why the difference with some of your sailors.  Are ATI's assigned to ships or squadrons?  I know that ATO's are attached to squadrons.
