Happy Halloweenie to my Girlies!
Kira, welcome to our group and HOOYAH! your Sailor Girl is starting classes and coming home for New Year's!!!
I've been quietly watching all you ladies talk to each other for the last month and a half that my daughter has been at Pensacola (PIR 9/14/12). She's been cleaning moldy bathrooms for the last 6 weeks and getting used to Florida life. But good news, she found out yesterday morning she's starting ATT next Monday! She was so excited to see her name on the list she called me and woke me up at 5:30am in San Francisco. It is good to see her beginning her classes and I think getting in the last class to start this year. She's in ATI and will be there for a while...but coming home to California for New Year's and I'm so excited to see her!
Beautiful Sunday morning to my girlies! got reports from Sailor Son as of 10:45 last night...all was well. waiting to hear what today brings!
Heading to VA tomorrow to meet my granddaughter. Cant wait. It will be a very long 71/2 hr ride filled with anticipation. Will be back monday night. Have a good weekend all
Good Morning Ladies!
One year ago today my son left home to become a Sailor. I am so proud of him and so very thankful that he loves his Navy life. Not once has he complained .... well there was that 1st letter from bootcamp when he complained about "a few nuckleheads that were getting the whole division in trouble" hehehe....I knew he wouldn't like that! We were texting this morning and when I told him to have a great day he replied "I will it's mandatory fun day!" I replied back "cool you get to celebrate your 1st Navyversary!" He also called me yesterday evening with the good news that he gets to come home for 2 weeks before heading to Japan. In less than 4 weeks I get my Sailor home! Yep I'm one very happy momma!!!!!
thanks all. Cathy we will have to introduce Chloe and Trace Who knows could be a couple of future sailors lol
