MNM you brought tears to my eyes with that one - thanks for sharing.
Just want to say you ladies are all so special. This would be one very long and lonely journey without you gals. I really appreciate all the support and friendship on here. {{{{{HUGS}}}}} to everyone!!!!!!
good morning girlies!
Sherrill, they suspected it was the fiberglass.
good morning my girlies!
Sherrill, oh no! been there...done that! our little Sissy had to have surgery at age 5 for congenital hip dislocation. she was in a cast from under her arms to her toes and had a horrible reaction. she had to go back into surgery and the cast replaced....it was a looooong hot Summer for our baby girl.
Hope your son continues to improve and have fun fun fun antiquing!
well i am sad and trying so hard to shake my mistake of erasing all the messages on the answering machine that we had saved from our Sailor. the first one was the surprise that he had recorded right before he left to go to boot camp. yeah that one....we couldn't bare to listen to it....the slight "catch" in his voice when he said he loves us. but the others were funny....those "helloooooo any one home?" were all the touch of the "play" button when we missed him.
when the power would go out and we had to reset the answering machine it would default and start to play the one....that would make us cry. we would jump hurdles to get back to the machine to hit stop as quickly as we could.
Good morning my girlies, well "life" seems to be back to normal. Grandmaw is in Church this morning and will go to lunch with her lady friends afterwards. WHEW what an ordeal she has been through! me....yep life is surely back to normal....she handed me the checkbook to balance....OH LORD HELP ME!! what a mess!!!!
talked to my Sailor a couple of times this past week. he said he's ready for the ship to get out of the yards and back on the water!!! he really tickles me when he says that!
making peanut butter pie today : ) y'all come on over!
MNM eat some nachos for me. we will be watching the game on TV.
Sherrill-When I am feeling down in the dumps, you post an email that picks my spirits up. I love hearing about your life. How do I get a life like yours? (smile) My Sailor son graduates from C school in late October. He is at Whidbey right now, but will be going to Jacksonville after graduation. I secretly wish that he was staying at Whidbey for home base. I have a condo in Vancouver, WA. I will be moving there in June. I am in CA working until then. If they (son and wife) were in Whidbey, at least they would be closer to me and I could see them more often. Jacksonville is nice, however. South Florida is home for me, so I will visit family and my kids when I come to Florida.
Sailor son will be taking test for E4 soon...I think. Keep him in your prayers.
Have a great week end everyone.
good evening my girlies!
mrojas, congrats! i am assuming Cali is home? i am so far behind on catching up with everyone : /
MNM, enjoy your Colts on Sunday!!! hope every one has a fantastic weekend!
chopsmom you are so right about the acronyms. My son and his uncle (retired Army) had a similar conversation at Christmas. Definitely sounded like they were speaking another language.
Hope everyone has a great weekend! Busy day tomorrow with a car show in the morning then a Gas Guzzler Run with our Mustang Club in the afternoon.
Hi all: my son is also ATI calibration tech. He did go to Keesler also. He is shore duty in Norfolk. His wife is also navy and she is in weather(her letters escape me at the moment)
