Well thanks everyone.. I think i will continue to follow this group as well. My SR is home and it great to have him here. Weird feelings though... He is my oldest and first to leave the nest, although he's home he is so busy with HIS life-good things friends, girlfriend and family time. It makes you realize that while they are home growing up you really don't want to take that time for granted. He is so happy and I realize I did a good job I still sometimes want him all to myself again. They truely do grow up fast. Everyone have a great day and Im glad to hear that you are doing well
Good morning my girlies!!!! whew....got Grandmaw back home and she is recovering nicely.
joshmom, here's to savoring every moment of every day your baby boy is still at home.
Sherrill, good news! your Sailor is on the mend and coming off the pain meds!
where's Tink????? wonder what she's up to.
thanks MNM, some days i feel like i am holding on by my fingertips!
Good Morning Ladies! Today is my baby boy's first day of High School - ugh! He woudn't let me take his picture this year "No mom, that's not cool anymore" but as I watched him walk down the driveway I grabbed the camera and took a quick pic but I ran back in the house as soon as I heard the bus so I wouldn't embarrass him! He's turning into such a fine young man but I admit I hate seeing him grow up. Hopefully these next 4 years will go by slow so I can enjoy them.
Sherrill - Safe travels back home and glad to hear JT is doing well.
Chris - Best of luck to your Sailor. We'd love to have you stay in the group so please check in with us from time to time and let us know how everything is going.
Have a wonderful day everyone!
I just wanted to tell everyone that I will be leaving this group and on to the next: the Carl Vincent. My sailor is heading home tomorrow for a 2 week leave and then onto San Diego. I appreciate the help and information you ladies gave. The best of wish's to you and your families. Take Care and again Thanks
hello my girlies! i am a bit out of touch with all of you and will try my best to catch up soon. Grandmaw got sick and the ER couldn't find out what is wrong. i brought her home to our house. She is very weak and eats just tiny bits of food. Sissy is tolerating all the chaos very well. Poppa Smurf has to leave us in a couple of days for out of town business. Sailor Son is doing ok....well he lost his wallet briefly and i didn't have time for a meltdown....we were on our way to the ER. thankfully, dear Lord thank you....he found it!
{{{{{NMH}}}} to you all!
Thanks marine navy mom! I just forwarded the information to Matt and told him to pass it on to others.
marine navy mom Happy Birthday to your sailor!
Thanks joshmom! I wish I could talk to Matt today but the best we can do is an email and facebook. Can't wait for him to get back so that I can at least talk to him on the phone.
