Sherrill - Glad you and dil are having a good laugh....lol!!!  I'm sure she's really thankful you're there to help her and why is it that most men think they are invinceable?  Seriously, hope the pain doesn't last too long and he does start functioning normally!

Birthday Wishes to the 23 year olds today!

MNM & MattsMom - hope both your sons have a wonderful day.

I've got today off work and have a date with my 14 year old....going to the mall to do school shopping....nothing like waiting till the last minute school starts next Thursday for him.  Then we're heading to the campground for the weekend for a couple of days of relaxation and the weather here is looking fantastic - only in the 80's all weekend.  Don't remember the last time we had such enjoyable temps!

Hope you all have a great day and wonderful weekend!

Sherrill - Thank goodness the surgery went well.  That's a big relief.  Hate that he's in so much pain but good to know he's on the path to healing.

Hi all, Had the baby shower on Saturday. Kids came in friday night and went back on Sunday. Very quick visit. The shower was a success. Hannah met my whole family for the first time. They welcomed her with open arms and were so generous with gifts for the baby. I think she was very nervous at first but settled right in. They were able to stuff most of the things in their car and I will make a trip to Norfolk end of the month to bring the rest. We are now ready for this baby in October.

marine navy mom my son will be 23 on Friday also.  Small world.  Unfortunately he is deployed right now and so we will not be with him this year.  Oh well have not been with him on his birthday since he joined the Navy 3 years ago.  I mailed him a box with homemade cookies and a birthday present.

Sherrill hope everything goes well with the surgery.

Our grandkids started back to school today also but they are home schooled.  Public school does not start for another three weeks.
