Afternoon all!!!
Hope everying is having a great start to this week!! Happy Monday :)
Great news heard from my son and he got his "dream" orders... going to be on the west coast San Diego. Is on hold after he graduates IT this Friday for a few days then home hopefully the following weekend.
We are located in Washington State and Love it.. Not too many states you can drive to the coast in an hour and or visit the snow in an hour depending your mood and of course the direction you choose to drive... Anyway I hope your son/daughter likes it as well
mrjojas my son loves it at Whidbey as far as his job goes but not crazy about the weather in Washington. Where the base is located is beautiful. Right on the water with mountains all around.
Sounds like fun Joyce. We did the same thing for my daughter in law. She is due the beginning of October and while she was here recently we had her a baby shower. Only our side of the family because she is from WA and we live in TX.
mrolas my son is also an ATO and is assigned to the P3. The plane is too big for a carrier so he will never be on a ship unless he changes jobs.
Hi all. Busy week here. Chris and Hannah coming in over the weekend. Baby shower for Hannah on Saturday. Poor girl doesnt know a soul except for me. I will be overloading her with 24 family members. She is a navy gal so I bet she can handle it. Time is flying baby due mid October. Unfortunately no one from her family will be here. She is from Vegas. To far and expensive for them to travel. Have a good week all
mrojas no there is not a carrier at Whidbey. Sailors based there are assigned to carriers but leave from the carrier's home port.
OH i forgot!!! Sailor Son called the other day. we talked for 1 ½ hrs!!! i do believe we would have talked longer but his battery was getting low : )
his buddy deployed on the IKE might not make it back when his baby is delivered and they asked my Sailor to "stand in" for him in the delivery room!!! the baby is due 2/27 and wouldn't be soooo nice if baby would come 2 days early for my Sailor's birthday on 2/25!!!!
Good afternoon my girlies!
OH SHERRILL what a bummer on your lovely Rosewood tree!! did you contact your homeowner's insurance? our flowering Pear trees were lost in Hurricane Elvis and they were covered....i believe it was $150.00 per foot...and that's the trunk circumference measurement.
joshmom....boys rollin' around in the mud....WOO HOO!!!!
Y'all have a wonderful weekend. Poppa Smurf was just sitting at the table making out a grocery list before he heads out to Vegas for the market. he left the list on the table and Sissy picked it up and wrote "tacos".....so guess what's for supper???? hehehehehe
MNM-zoom zoom girlie : )
