FOLLOW THESE STEPS TO GET STARTED:

Choose your Username.  For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either).  Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username.  While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Make sure to read our Community Guidelines and this Navy Operations Security (OPSEC) checklist - loose lips sink ships!

Join groups!  Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself!  Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility. 

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.  

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Enjoying one more day with my son. We made it to Corry Station and I feel much better about tomorrow. God will continue to protect and guide his footsteps. Nice naval base

Just waking up after taking son to airport at OMG It's Early this morning.  What a great time we had together!  Happy New Year to everyone.  Praying our sailors have safe travels back home and abroad!

Tina:  Yes.  Now he and his friends are enjoying the new movies that are out in theatres this week-they are so happy to see him.  Getting used to this grown man laying on the couch...

My daughter is sleeping on my couch!  Hasn't been home since April 26, 2011 so glad she is home!!!!!!!!

raberta---i know what you mean!!!   i am so wishing for time to slow down a little while he is here (i know it wont, but one can always wish).  might be the last visit for awhile.   i sure do miss him!!

My Christmas present (son) will be here next week.  I'm so happy I could burst into a pile of confetti!
