marine navy mom,

although this one isn't very active I have felt really comfortable with this group, some of the groups I feel like I am an outsider looking in.  I don't know alot about the service area.  And because of my health issues, I have trouble remembering alot of things so I feel that I am a bother to other people if I have to keep asking the same thing over.  But here in this group I feel more comfortable with my silly questions, maybe because it is smaller and way I will stick by this group until there is no more.  Have a Great Weekend

Thank you! Yep, I'm part of the corpsman group! They are pretty active. No doubt about that! LOL! You know, to be honest, I'm kinda hoping that my daughter gets placed with a Marine unit. I know they really take care of their corpsman!! Just don't know how likely that is.

They provide transportation to the next command. You can use that ticket to come home and then purchase ticket to next command. What we are goingto do is purchase a one way ticket for our daughter to come home, then we will have the ticket that the navy provides changed so it will go from our home to the next command and pay the difference if needed.

she is a heavy equipment operator, if that what you mean about rate I get all these items always mixed up.  She thought maybe Gulf Port Mississippi would be next.  Do they provide transportation to come home for a visit or does she have to find her own way home.  Could we pick her up if need be if it would be cheaper or does she have to fly or go by bus accordinly to Navy standards.

just letting my friends on this site how every thing is going in A school for my daughter.  She said she has about 21 to 27 days left before she finish this part of her training, that is if she passes every thing.  Then she thought maybe she could come home for a few weeks, sure hope that is true.  I miss her so much since my health has taken a turn for the worst again.  Starting this week with more doctors, shots, and more medication.  I just wish I felt good and I could see her face, even though we didn't always have a close relationship we have grown close now.  Hope all your love ones are doing great too.
