Thank you for the info Marine Navy Mom I did sign up for that group as well as the Massachusetts group.  I'm not sure what his rating is but I am going to find that out right now and search that group too.  Thanks for the welcome!

My son Ryan graduated boot camp last Friday 8/5 and is now at A school in Pensacola.  He thinks he may be home the end of September but everything is still up in the air.

My son graduated Boot Camp in  early July, spent a few weeks in GL and came home on leave (ending today).  He is supposed to report to VA Beach today and had not heard anything from his sponsor.  Where should he report once he gets off the plane?

My Sailor's PIR was 8-05 now he is in 'A' school in TX so proud of him.  Looking forward to Dec. when he gets to come home. Was disappointed that we were only able to spend Friday afternoon with him, but we were able to get up and meet him at the airport and spend  from 0130-0730 with him.  Was bittersweet, so happy to see him and so sad to have such a short time.

My Sailor graduated!  He is leaving GL to come home for a few days before joining the fleet.  Thanks for the opportunity to post here. Can't wait to congratulate my brand-new DC!

Pray for the families of the SEALS we lost . . .

Our son is at Great Lakes to begin A school for AECF/ET.  Which will be nice for those long weekends, we're only three hours away!

Hi Ladies my daughter is in A school in Gulfport, MS. She gets to come home August 12th and can stay for 2 weeks and then goes back to Gulfport for a month and then she goes to VA. She is a builder, she likes what she is doing which is a good thing. It will be nice to see her again. The family is looking forward to getting to spend time with her, she gets to come home in time for her brother's birthday which is the 13th of August, he will be 24 and she is 21 and the youngest is a girl and she is 19.
