Hello all Navy Moms. I just found this group and I am so happy. My daughters PIR is 10-9-15. The letter I got from her on Friday made me cry. She is stressed out. Thinks people there don't like her, homesick, and worried about a coupke things required to graduate. I think she just has herself so worked up that she is thinking about everything negatively. I just wish I could talk to her right now to reassure her everything is going to be ok. Anyone else's daughter handle BC similar to this????

bmc321 I know exactly how you feel. My daughter got there on 8-25 and I haven't heard from her yet. Hoping for a letter this week and always keeping my phone close for a just in case call.

My daughter left on  8/26/15, and I have been crying every day. I know once I hear from her it will help me to realize she is OK. This is so hard!

richnrebecca, I sure understand. My daughter is the youngest of 8 so I should be used to sending them off but I miss her so much. We have always been very close and her plan is to make the Navy her career so no plans to return home. I'm very proud of her but I am having trouble adjusting.

Today I has to have two emergency root canals and could care less about the pain I'm in. I got a surprise call for information and the form letter too. She even addresses her sisters on the envelope and made their day. She so uses exhausted and not so spunky but she'll get there
