Hi, Beth. Glad to have you with us. What is your daughter's rate (job) and where is she stationed. You can be general about her duty station if you would prefer, e.g., the Middle East.

One of the sad things, I think, is sometimes the Moms need a shoulder to cry on when their daughters are having problems. In Kristen's case it is a medical problem and I understand her searching out what can be done. Sometimes we do recognize that the problem is one that we cannot fix nor can we interfere but it hurts. This is a site for support but really in many ways we cannot use it as such for fear of repercussions. If that is the case, then I'm not sure why I should be here.

Hi Moms,
How is everyone doing?
Anna, So glad to hear about your plans to go to WA. You will be just North of me in CA! I hope you have a great time.
Maria,
I am a grandma too, my Navy girl Chrissy has a 2 1/2 year old son. He lives with his father in Sacramento. I took him to GL for her PIR last month. She misses him a lot, it is much harder then she thought it would be, but she likes the Navy and is doing well. Navy Hugss to all ~ Vicky

Terra,
I understand how you feel. It is hard letting go even when we know they are doing something so awesome. There are many Moms here who will support you through those tough times. Enjoy every minute with her before she leaves. Does she know yet what she will be doing after boot camp?

Pegi,
Welcome!! I hope she (and you) get to find out soon.

Good luck Chris's Mom!! I hope everything works out well for your son!

Welcome Debbie (Erin's Mom),
I will keep your daughter in my prayers for her deployment. What does she do?

Thanks for asking-I myself have done fine throught all this rain. But the road to my brother-N-Law is shut down-Gwinnett Co.schools are off Monday and Tues. due to some of the roads and the flooding of peoples home-The safety of our kids is what is important. So for now the sun(?) is shinning. It did have me worried-seeing all that rain falling so fast.During the spring and summer time-(until it gets cold)we play volleyball on Tues. and Thurs. night-while Heather was home we played-since Heather left it has rained and can't play volleyball.

Irene,
I used to live in Augusta. Do you know if they are getting as much rain as the Atlanta area is? Are you having any problems with flooding?

Hey Kristen! How are you doing? I am going through them(the pictures) and writing down the one's I plan on downloading.I am going to set up the photoalbum with dates and titles of Heather's visit.I hope it comes out the way I would like for it too. Then I think everyone will enjoy it better. Our schools are closed Tuesday due to bad weather.I am going to work on them.I hope to get them done this week.
