Lisagse,
I just rec'd my 1st letter from my SR/daughter, that's how you'll be referring to your daughter (sailor recruit) to keep her annonymous if you prefer. She was sick but feeling better, everyone gets sick at BC and she gets to keep her teeth. Alot of the SRs get their wisdom teeth removed to avoid any possible issues. Hope this info helps. Have a great day!

SoCal Ohana- :) Next week will be one year when mine went in. I thought BC would never end and now she's been in a year. Looking back I would never have thought I'd get through it but here I am now and very proud. Start planning your trip to PIR. Best thing ever!!

My daughter is at MEPS now and swears in tomorrow and flies to BC - yikes - the time is actually here!

racer88girl,

You should call her recruiter, he/she can get your daughter's address before the form letter comes to you.  Only her recruiter has the access to the ship/div she is assigned to and then can look up her address.

Racer88girl. Yes it is comforting to be able to write. Send something everyday. In a couple weeks you will start to get letters from her too! Hang in there

I got my daughter box today.  I thought my heart was going to stop.  But from what I have read on Bootcamp for moms is I should be receiving the first letter soon.  Which I think will be better cause aleast then I can write to her.
