FOLLOW THESE STEPS TO GET STARTED:

Choose your Username.  For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either).  Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username.  While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Make sure to read our Community Guidelines and this Navy Operations Security (OPSEC) checklist - loose lips sink ships!

Join groups!  Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself!  Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility. 

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.  

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Welcome Lukes mama. Do you live in Linden? I live in Sutter Creek, my sailor went to Amador High, Class of 2003, Mother Lode league, it looks like in your pics thier high schools are in the same league. You just post a comment in this group and everyone can read it.

mm, have you run across this mom. Her son was suppose to PIR on Mar 5, she join the Corpsmen Moms and Dads. I got a number of emails from her but then she dropped off. Has not returned anything I have sent her since. Just wondering if you seen her in Corpsmen group? I have a funny feeling about it.

Christina - I'm new to this group but not to N4Ms... My son is a corpsman stationed at Camp Lejeune... I live in Watsonville near Santa Cruz....Have you checked other groups that have the same PIR date as yours.....I'm sure there is one... What is your son going to do in the Navy ???

hello eveyone, i have been a member of N4M for a short time and never noticed the 209 group. I am from Los Banos Ca, and my son is currently in BC and will be graduating on June 4 if everything goes well. Is there anyone else withe that date?

And memebers can be in as many groups as they want, so being a member of Nor. Cal. doesn't stop them being a member here!

Bea, You asked me twice to invite membrs to the Nor. Cal. group. As of now noone has taken over this group, so I am not being counter-productive. You have no right to tell me who I can invite and who I can't. Any member can invite another member to any open group.
