Moms, I heard from Betty today. The command said that the pillowcases are not stored anywhere, all were given out. So please, if your child didn't receive one, contact them and ask if they got it.
And then let me know. Thanks! Betty has been very diligent on this, but we need to confirm with the sailors now.

Betty will be checking in with the ship in a few days. Moms, if you get a chance, would you check with your child and see if they did check with their chief about the pcs? Thanks.
Melinda I got your's in the mail today. thanks for sending it.

I have been contacted by three Moms who have sons who did not get their designated pillowcase. Sue and the Ombudsman have been following up on this. This is the latest from the Ombudsman:

"I actually just got an email a couple of minutes ago that the sailors that were supposed to get special ones and didn't, should check with their chief. Many of the chiefs picked up pillowcases for their division. If their chief does not have it - go to CMC.

Since my husband goes back to work in a couple of days - I will just have to go visit at lunch and see if I can talk to some of the chiefs. I know they will help me.

Thanks for all your patience."

Please keep us in the loop. We want all the pillowcases distributed to the crew members and we want those what were designated to go to specific people to get them.

Suzan, Your son is a nice looking young man! Do you know if the young lady from Facebook received hers?

which one is he?

LeAnna, Dori and Ally confirmed there was one for him labeled in a bag. Those were placed in a locked cupboard, so I have asked Betty to follow up on them. IF they are no longer there, I will make new ones and Lyn has agreed to embroider on them after Christmas.
We will take care of it, but please be patient until Betty has the time to go physically check.
And enjoy your sailors! I won't see mine for Christmas.

Sue, LeAnna did give me her son's name and it was on Ally's list when I double checked them.
