yes it is Tamara. I have some pictures, but want to make sure about posting them before I send them out.
I'll ask Ally to write a "story" about it. And yes, they were surprised. Not everyone came to get one, but enough were left for all the crew.
Ally did say that when some of the sailors received the special ones, others wanted them. She just said that their moms requested them.

I got to see some. I just emailed the young man to see if I can post his picture. Oh my, I am excited. NY moms, we are now at 1,922 as of today.

Thanks, Ombudsman. Some of us are really looking forward to seeing them. Many thanks for working with us to make it all possible.

Woohoo! I am so excited. I won't get to be there in person, but I will be there in spirit. So please, no chatter yet.

Ladies please don't tell your child, The command was keeping this as a surprise, so please no chatter until I confirm with you that it is done.

Tomorrow is the BIG day. The pillowcases are scheduled to be delivered tomorrow morning. It would be so much fun to be there. I do hope pictures are taken.

Contact me, because we need name, first and last, along with the rate/title. You don't want to put that on here. At this point we will do all we can to accommodate you but time is short!!

Hi ladies, Ally is right. We will be delivering them next week, so time is very short. We'd like your children to have a special one-well, they are all special, but these are the navy seal (like my picture) with the ship's name embroidered on it.

Dori actually has a thread on this page, so please contact her. Or do as Ally suggested and go to the HAE page and put the info in our NY thread.

HAE will mail Stacy a pillowcase that was embroidered with the ship's number on it. Please let us know if you have an address.

BTW moms, I am working with the ombudsman now on a delivery date of the pillowcases. If you haven't contacted Dori yet, please do so.
