Hello, im leaving on Oct. 27th. My rate is ABE i was wondering if anyone could tell me what A school is like and how day to day living and work hours are for this rate.

Hi Kim ~
My son is an ABE on the Lincoln, I'm not exactly sure but I think he's on the cats vs arresting gear. His emails (Lincoln on 7 mo deployment) have mentioned cats only so far. He too finished A school last month, posted to Everett, arrived and departed 7 days later.. Hopefully someone else with more than 1+ month of knowledge can help us both, I'm still learning too.

Laurie, thanks for the welcome and yes you are right, he's most happy when he's busy. It does make the time move quickly and 7 months is a long time. Guess I need to be busy too.
