CTmomof3....oh you are going to have a blast in Nashville but it has been so hot here!!!!  The humidity is so uncomfortable.

There's been lots of pictures this past week with the Anchorage.  I guess they were in a blackout the other two weeks.  We did hear from our son and he says that they've been busy.

I really need info to contact the ombudsman for the Anchorage.  I am getting no newsletters and feel so out of touch.  Can you or anyone else help me????? please

Up&Down. I see you're from Nashville area.  I'll be heading your way next weekend on the way to TX.  Did all the Anchorage moms see the FB pictures the ship posted yesterday?

Anchorage moms, I'm not included yet with getting information from our ship's ombudsman.  Is there any important news I should know?  If so, please send me a private message. Thanks.

Have you joined a group for your area?  We have a statewide group where we post upcoming plans.  Here in Phoenix we have an informal evening meetup for coffee the first Monday of every month at a grocery store coffee bar; and lunch get-togethers about every three months or so on a Saturday and usually get about 10 - 20 moms and we always try to get a group pic to post.  You just have to sort of plunge in and set something up!  :)  It builds if you're consistent, and ven if you only meet one other mom at first, it's a good thing.

I wish I could find some moms close by to meet up and maybe do some constructive walking (lol)  walk and talk takes your mind off your woes, and the wrinkles outta yer butt.

Happy Saturday, Gator Moms!  Hopefully everyone gets to attend a homecoming  :)  Here's a great article about homecoming traditions, and an infographic too:  "Return to Homeport: U.S.Navy Homecoming Traditions"
