Well, Cheryl, if this heat keeps up, we'll all simply melt away a few sizes! : )

I'm seriously thinking of trading my sewing machine for an air conditioner! whew!

Sorry Icanrun. I wouldn't mind having one just to have but I don't wear polos and I don't know how long it will be until I can fit into a L. I am getting there but not yet!

Hi Everyone,

Does anyone want a "Navy Mom/Gold Trident/Class 2 8 3" polo shirt? I have 3 in my sewing room, all size "L". 2 Navy blue and 1 white. See above reference to Polo Shirt to see a photo. I'm cleaning out my sewing room to make a space for my daughter-in-law while she stays with us during her hubby's (our 2 8 3 son) next training round. I know it's beyond roasting hot everywhere, but it won't always be so sweltering! (will it?)

We've also got a son defending our freedom in the place that kind of rhymes with "tuna fish can".  With every drop of sweat that falls from me, I'm sure he sweats 100 when all geared up and working. So, I'm not complaining!

God bless and keep our boys!

I'm thanking everyone for their thoughts and prayers. GP is a bit busy right now. All of you are incredible. Our thoughts and prayers always include your guys.

I was asked about signing the Guest Book. It would probably be best to use the obituary from the newspaper. It doesn't require an email. I'd suggest you use your screen name. He'll know who you are. The family chose not to include the names of our three military members. There's really no way to associate them because they all have different last names. Only four Granddaughters.... :-)

H20mom I also stayed on the beach in Mission Beach. I would be happy to give you the number of the lady that manages it. She has several places.

Hello BUDS283 group.  New here.  A little late to the party, but glad to be here.

hey everyone! When I asked the photographer about the class photo DVD, he told me that they will make 4 copies and distribute them to the guys. It is up to the guys to make copies for the families or whoever might be interested. So...the BIG question is: WHO has a copy that can be copied? I haven't heard of anyone.

Also, I'm hoping that the photos taken at pinning and afterward the whole class will be made available to families, but I haven't heard anything on that either. If I learn something I'll surely let you know, and please do the same for me!

Thanks!!
