Hello all... well, I'm new to this and not sure where to start. My daughter left yesterday to bootcamp (she joined the Navy). I have a load of emotions ranging from sadness to pride and if you'd asked me yesterday how I felt I'd say I was heartbroken especially when I went up to her room saw she wasn't there but was still able to smell her perfume. But as of today (right now) pride is setting in. It's just cool to know I can relate with moms out there who are going through the exact same thing and on top of that live in Chicago. Thanks all... God bless, Miriam
Everyone have a nice weeked. Enjoy the weather!
Sally how are you doing?
cute pics of the babies!!! Sally you mo and you are in my prayers. Paula hope your mom is recovering well. the 12th is fast approaching whos all in??
OMG the pictures of the kids are so cute, just love them. Did they get a lot of candy??? Stephen went to a party and guess what he was??? LOL
Oh Sally I am so sorry I will keep you and her in my prays and thoughts.
How is everyone else doing? Are we still going in November?
Diane, I am so sorry, I know it is so hard for everyone. All you can do is to be there for him, it is hard to be married in the military (well I think so). We are here for you, love to get together and catch up, it is so easy to talk when we are together. I will keep all of you in my prays.
Paula, sorry to hear that, you are busy now, you better take care of yourself so you don't get sick, I hope it is a ez fix too, keep us updated.
Mary so glad you son is going to be home for Thanksgiving that will make the holiday for you. Mary I wish I could tell you about Stephen, I just don't know. He is working now, a contract in IT work for 6 months. He is active duty so he will go to Great Lakes once a month. His unit is out of VA and he should be called in 7-8 months when the choppers come in unless something happens and he has to go in before. This is the only way he could get outof Italy. If he passed the test for E5 hewill have more options and he can go back full time anytime, so that is all I know and don't understand any of it. LOLOLOL
Hope everyone else is doing good!
It is very nice to have him hope so far!!!!!!!!!!
