I am doing a research paper in my psychology class on cultural groups. Part of the paper is to interview people within that cultural group. Even though I have a son in the Navy I must remain neutral and can’t put my thoughts or feelings into the paper. So, I am reaching out to my fellow Navy moms for assistance. If you could take time from your hectic schedules and answer the following (7) questions it would be most helpful and truly appreciated.
What would you say the culture of a Navy Mom is?
What are your values?
What are your norms?
What are your fears?
What are your standards?
What is the most important thing to you?
How important are support systems?

A "Triple Threat Ship" is a performance division that has all three types of performance squadrons integrated in one. Drill Team (Rifles) Choir and Band. My Son was in a Triple Threat Division when he went through Boot Camp.
One fun fact. Performance divisions have an easier Saturday that the the rest of the recruits. In the mornings While everyone else is "outside" marching, the 900 division recruits are "inside" practicing their music and drills!
I was living in Ouray, CO where I raised my two sailors, I just moved a month ago to Longmont, CO. I started culinary school in Boulder.
They don't want the recruits to fail!
