I'm in Aurora. I have a Friend who's son just left for boot camp. We would love to do lunch on a weekend. Anyone else close by??
AnnMarie9300-I'm from Highlands Ranch. We are not the most active on this page but you'll see a lot of familiar names on other pages. Since we do not have a lot of Navy personnel here I guess we all seem to hang out on pages where our kids are.
Julie-Colorado- My son's best friend is on the Vinson too. I know he's safe but my heart is broken for the family of the young man who lost his life and his shipmate and wing man who was involved in the accident. I'm with you in praying for them all.
Been busy posting on my sailor's ship. A lot goes on and they have a very active group. Today is a sad day for USS Carl Vinson (my son is aboard) and the tragedy there yesterday and today. No words can be said but we feel the sorrow for the family and shipmates. A veteran from the Vinson just posted, "Unknown shipmmate, you are relieved. We have the watch." This hits home for all of us parents. Prayers for all.
Wow no posts since July!! AnnMarie I am from Ouray, CO and about to move to somewhere in Boulder County, Am going to School in Boulder. I have twins in the Navy. been almost two years now.
I don't know why I stopped getting posts from here. I am still a member. Met a mom from Durango It was great. I am about to move to Boulder, Having trouble finding housing. I am going to attend the Culinary school there. So maybe I can meet some of you east slope mommas.
Hi Jaron-smom. This group isn't very active right now. Most of our kids are in the fleet now. Welcome to the Navy. If you haven't joined Bootcamp moms I suggest you do so. I live in Highlands Ranch by the way.
