Hi all..Happy Snow day here..Im in Colorado Springs..Anyone in this area or denver?? My son is on the GW in Japan.
I can go to GJ on Sundays as that is my only day off.
I occasionally go to GJ if Western slope ladies want to meet there. I know there is someone in this group from Gunnison and one from Durango. My son said that there is a DEP guy who is going to be a nuke from Telluride also. I would be happy to go to GJ or meet in Ouray and we could go to dinner and the pool.
my daughter graduated 1-25. She is now in Monterey. We live in Junction. I am a teacher and am actually looking for sailor recruits that I can send packets of notes and letters in care of for their whole division. Let me know if you are interested. My daughter's division loved them!
Hi, Sheillada I live in Ouray and my son is going in BC in April. He is also in the nuke program. His twin went to BC Nov 4th and is now in Pensacola in A school for IT. It would be great for us SW Colorado moms to meet sometime. send me a private message to get my email.
Hi Sheilada - I'm in southwest CO. My son is almost ready to graduate Nuclear Power School. There are a few of us not in the Denver/Springs area. If you haven't, definitely join BootCamp Moms and join your PIR (graduation) group when you know the date. There's lots of great support there as your SR goes through bootcamp. After he PIR's, you can join the Nuke Mom's group where you'll find lots of great info as he works through the Nuke program. My son signed in August, 2011 and headed to Bootcamp in January 2012. Hang on, it's a bumpy but exciting ride!
