Gail M - you sent me a message before that was very informative that I copied and gave to my nuke to read, anything you can pass on as to what his path will entail is greatly appreciated.  We get on the California Zephyr train tomorrow morning and head for Chicago. If you want consider some of you meeting at the Denver station to cheer us on with no delays it would get to Denver at 6:38.  You could meet our future nuke.  That would be awesome Look up on Amtrak site when the CZ train pulls into Denver (in case it is late.).

Hey there Craig - I have a couple questions for you.   At our N4M lunch in October you mentioned you work at the Naval facility at Buckeley, is that right?

1. You also said there is a gift shop where we can buy Navy stuff or can us families go to the  NEX to buy Navy gear and paraphanalia like car magnets, sweatshirts, etc.?  I rarely make it to Aurora but have a good idea where the base is, but not the place I can get any of this stuff so a location would be helpful.

If not, does anyone out there recommend some reliable websites to purchase Navy stuff?

2.  Also, my son's ship is still being refurbished and will deploy in the 1Q.  There is a lot of buzz on his N4M ship's group about needing ship-to-shore calling cards.  Could you explain a bit about those, where to get them and how much we should get for him.  People are asking me about Christmas gifts for my sailor and since he has limited space, I figure calling cards and/or fast food restaurant cards would be okay.     Anyone have other recommendations?

For Denver locals...Just a reminder that the Women's Connection group that meets in Broomfield on Friday mornings will have registration for the next 5 week session on January 4 2013, in Broomfield United Methodist Church gym 9-10am.  Classes available in Water color, quilting, jewelry, card stamping, scrapbooking and polymer clay are only $20. for 5 instruction weeks 9-11:30am.   We bring snacks to share and chat away...  Even a table for those who just want to bring their own projects to finish while they chat.  I make the coffee!  All adult women welcome--any age!  Interested?  e-mail me at ToriPS@gmail.com for info.   (We already have a member who comes up from Evergreen area.)
