OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Please note! Changes to this guide happened in October 2017. There are now tickets issued, and there are no longer parking passes for PIR.

Please see changes to attending PIR in the PAGES column. The PAGES are located under the member icons on the right side.

Hello all, I am the admin for Colorado Navy Parents on Facebook.  Someone named Joy requested to join our group.  Does anyone know how I can get a hold of her?  Thanks!

The FB group is called Colorado Navy Parents now (not Colorado Navy Moms). I just requested to join yesterday and they approved it this morning.

Hello Redwind and Welcome. CO Native here.  Where in our great state are you?  I will also say we are a fairly quiet bunch on here and yes the FB group is a little more active.  My Sailor has been in for 3 years now and may or may not be home for a visit between duty stations at the end of the week!  Nothing like Navy planning!!! ;)

Redwind, There is a Colorado Navy Moms group on face book too. Where in Colorado do you live? I lived there for 11 years but am now in NC. Left a week after my sons PIR. Still have my younger son Woodland Park.Miss Colorado very much. Welcome
