OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Craig and Cathy, Thanks for the reply's... he's been in TPU in Norfolk since last Friday.... his room mate shipped to the same ship on Tuesday after graduation, my son got his port call this morning and leaves from Norfolk to Bahrain on this coming Tuesday. His room mate in C-School was in class with him in Pensacola as well, and will be in another squadron on the same ship... which will be nice to know someone, when he gets there.
