OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Lisa - Might I suggest you also look at this thread.  It helps alot of people:

~ Boot camp for Dummies (with Pictures) ~

I keep it in the

Cryptology ~ CTI ~ CTM ~ CTN ~ CTR ~ CTT ~ Corry Station Pensacola ... section since I have control over the document there and can update it without a bunch of hassle.  I later became the admin for the

(¯`'•.¸ NAVY MEPS & DEP FAMILIES ¸.•'´¯) section but by then I already had the info established in the Crypology section.

and I sure couldn't put it in the USS Chicken Ship ~ Avast rowdy matey's, belay to the Poop deck for ... section because all those ladies what to do is look at hot guys...

During the summer "Surge" times June - Oct you will be the (bottom) 3 3 3 configuation.  During the other times you'll be a 1 2 1 (top) configuration.
