My son is assigned to the Texas.  He is a Nuke MM3 and did nuke welding school after power school and prototype.  I talked to him this morning.  He says it is the most beautiful place he has ever seen.  Have any of you been there?

I'll be there!  Looking forward to it!  Lion55'smom - I'm near Littleton, my son is a sub, but still in STS.  Grad is July 19th, he's hoping for Pearl as well!  We shall see.

Hi everyone :-)

Note that I put an update on our coffee get-together discussion.  Romancing the Bean is not open on the weekends!  I've moved us to Starbucks at Aspen Grove. Here's a link to Google Maps to find it:

Where did all of you come from??? Have you been hiding from me?  LOL!  I am so excited to find Colorado moms.  Who is close to Littleton?  Who is a sub mom?  Pearl Harbor?  Nuke?  My son is on the way to Pearl as I type!   Hurts as bad as boot camp did or maybe even a little worse,  but I am so glad to find this group!!!!!!

Romancing the Bean sounds good to me as well!

Romancing the Bean-- looks good to me!

I was the one who set up the date but I haven't proposed a place yet.  I was considering a place in the downtown LIttleton area called Romancing the Bean but I was hoping to stop by one day before and make sure it is still there and see how it would work for us.   Does that part of town work for everyone who was planning to go?
