Hi Colorado Moms.  My son doesn't ship out to boot until February 3, 2016 but I thought I'd just jump in here and get to know some of you.  He'll be 26 by the time he ships.  He's currently living here with us in Castle Rock but has lived on his own in California for several years so I'm used to being an empty nester and expect I will miss him but excited for this new phase of his life.  His rating is AV.

Sorry I have been busy getting ready to open a new bakery in Down town Longmont. Hope those of you close will come in and check it out. It will be opening in October.

332 Main St. Longmont.

Will be like a Cold Stone Creamery only with cookies. The customer picks a dough and picks what ingredients they want to add, IE nuts, chips, candy, crushed cookie, crushed pretzel and many more things. Fun HU? I had that idea a couple of years ago. Now it's time has come. Will be making other items as well. Love making candies, danish and croissants. Make a mean banana cupcake that is dipped in chocolate and frosted with peanut butter cream cheese frosting. Killer. That will be a weekly special I think.

Sorry about not wanting to go to Denver, I really have to get over it, but I am terrified to drive there. I lived for 30 years in a town of 800, not even a stop light. Traffic is really intimidating. I will go if I can ride with someone else or follow someone. I will have Sunday off.

Hey there... it has been a blur of a summer here as we have been getting ready for our daughter to leave.  She flew in to GL yesterday.  Whew.  Just wondering if you ever established a time to meet up?  I know there was discussion about the beginning of August - did that pan out?  I think it would be awesome if we could meet monthly, or every other month at least, maybe changing locations each time in consideration of where everyone is from...?  My only glitch is that I work Saturdays until 3, and I would be coming from Loveland.   Yeah, anyway...

They are both great towns but not very close to downtown or the airport.  Thornton is the closer of the two.  For a single 28 year old former sailor he may want to life a more urban lifestyle.  Of course he may have $ saved and be looking to buy his first home as well!

What about Lafayette or Thornton?
