Janet R. Go to the "~ special hugs" facebook page and look for the tutorial posted.  You don't need a serger.  It is a quick and easy way to make a pillow case that has all the seams enclosed. Or try this...

Chris, Plan on me making 25 pillow cases for the May 7th packing party.  I will take as much fabric as can be given.  Also I will start collecting items to pack...

My daughter's ship may be deploying sometime in the near future.  When I asked her about care packages, she said she wanted things like nuts and dried fruit and trail mix.  Things she can't get on the ship that are slightly healthier than the stuff offered in the ship's stores.  Those are things to consider for our next packing party, too.

Back at you, val (cassies mom)!  We heard very briefly from our sailor late Friday that they are fine, the seas surrounding the ship were rough, but all were eager to help in the relief effort.  That's what we do isn't it, pay & pray & pray some more!

Hi Everyone,  I am new to N4Moms.  My sailor is on the RR, currently deployed.  Any else have a sailor on the RR?

Chris and Tammy, I had such a great time at the last packing party I can't wait for the one in May. I too want to start collecting the stuff you'll need. Please let me know as soon as you figure out want you want.

Anyone have a sailor in corpmans training at GL right now?

Hope every one is hanging in there!  You will get letters and phone calls, and actually at times it is better to hear nothing as that means they are still there and working!

My son is out of the Northglenn recruiting office, he left on the 9th of February.  No letter yet, just miss him so very much.
