I wish I could go to one of these!  Every time we have a wrestling tourney for our soon to be sailor.  Maybe after his wrestling and our daughter's basketball is over we can join in.

Bought 3 big bags of candy at Sam's today. I'm not sure there are more than 300 pieces, but someone else will bring some, I hope.

I'll be hitting Sam's Club this weekend to do some shopping. I'll pick up some candy. I also have a friend who's son is a Marine. She has an elementary school aged daughter. I've asked her to see if her daughter's Girl Scout Troop or class (or both) will write letters or make cards.

Chris - I talked with one of the recruiters while at the Veteran's Day Parade on Saturday. December 4th was the day he mentioned. Maybe I'll make this one.

Please keep me on the list. My son is at GL now in BC. 9 days and counting and still no PIR date or form letter. I will keep my candy for you.

I just joined the Colorado Moms, however have been posting on N4M for some time now. I see a get together that you all did here recently. Do you do any others in the Denver area?

I was wondering if by some chance there are any Navy Moms from the San Luis Valley on here or even Southern Colorado?

OMG I was shopping at Target and found a Sailor Nut Cracker. They had several different themed Nutcrackers and about died when I found the sailor. He so ugly he is cute! Just thought I would pass it along!!!
