My son is a Navy vet and is going to be working in Denver very soon. I thought the best place to ask for a recommendation on where he should live is right here on N4Ms. I can always trust the advice of a Navy mom! He is 28 and single. Any ideas?

I see there is talk about meeting sometime soon. I would love to join all of you if where you are going is workable for me. Not that it makes any difference, but I will not drive to the Peoples Republic of Boulder. :)

Hello Yella Horse Gal,  When you get back from PIR  we should get together. Congratulations on having a Sailor.  If you get this message before your trip, take lots of quarters for toll roads. I didn't and had to frantically search for changes.  My daughter has been a Sailor almost for 2 years now.  Time does fly by so quickly.

Yes, TwinSailorsMom, headed to PIR tomorrow. Flying out of DIA to go see him... excited! Just got the final "I'm a sailor" call yesterday.

Oh I just saw. GJ is little far... But hey, I used to live in Ouray for 30 years. Just moved over here last year. I go back some for visits. I also may be headed through GJ on my way to see my family for Labor day to Northern CA. Maybe we could meet then?
