The 13th works for me to.  (as far as I know lol)  Will be nice to meet you ladies.  Are spouses included in this???  I kinda assumed they are.

It's been a rough couple of months for us, (don't know if I posted this earlier or not)  It started with having to dig up our basement and replace pipes.  Alex came home on leave and while here our dog died.  Knowing he was going on deployment again, I took him to the airport that was rough, on the way back from the airport I was rear ended and pushed into another car, a miata, that was a present from husband.  its 9 years old and only 35,000 miles on it.  then just found out that my mom has cancer.  she will be starting radiation here soon (hence why I said as far as I know we can make it) It has not spread so I am praying the outcome will be good.  oh yeah I broke down and let my daughter get a puppy, I am the babysitter lol.................I also got asked by my church to make a house cake for a couple that lost their house in the fire.  when this week is over I am getting wine and doing nothing :)

Hope this all comes together and we get a good turn out for lunch.  I am excited .

I like Julie's idea with the RSVP. Julie, can you coordinate rsvps? I can call the restaurant to coordinate table with final head count and see if they can block off an area or large table. There is also a chilis and Red Robin at the same exit. Just to throw out some more ideas. I'm flexible. What's nice is I fly out a few days later to visit Ty. Can't wait!

Lunch or breakfast somewhere on the 13th works for me (maybe breakfast for those who have Saturday football games for siblins?).

I am not familiar with the restaurants in CR.  We are usually just driving through.  Black Eyed Pea sounds good too.  If there are several of us, I wonder if there's a restaurant that has a room like a Country Buffet or Golden Coral?  That way we can all meet and talk with one another more easily.  Just a thought.

Suppose we should set a deadline for a tentative RSVP so we know how many to expect.  Then one of us can call the restaurant to reserve a table.  How about a tentative deadline of Thursday, 10/11?   Late comers are always welcome - this would be just to get a head-count.

How about Black Eyed Pea in Castle Rock for lunch on 10/13?  It is on the south side of the parking lot right by the Castle Rock Outlet Stores - I believe it is I-25 and Meadows Parkway.  My son is starting BESS (Basic Enlisted Sub School) in a few days and would love to talk to Tyandpi's mom and pick her brain for info about sub school!

You might want to try looking on Yelp for restaurants in Castle Rock.  Elaine

Good morning,  I would like to attend the get together as well.  My son just graduated August 24th and will soon be going out on his first deployment next week.  Looking forward to meeting other Colorado moms.  I live in Highlands Ranch, so Castle Rock is perfect for me.

Good morning everyone.  Looks like another beautiful day in CO.

I won't be able to join you on 10/13.  Aaron is graduating from ODS in Newport, Rhode Island on 10/12.  I will send pics of the occasion.  You all will be in my thoughts on the 13th.

This is great that we are keeping in touch.

Have a great day,

Elaine (aka chergui....name of my favorite perfume.....lol)
