OPSEC - Navy Operations Security
Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.
DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.
DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Carol - I think our kids handle their birthdays away better than we do, my son turned 20 in July and I was so lonely for him that day, but he breezed through his day and his classmates had a birthday party for him!
I'm with you, anything to get through this afternoon! 12 more minutes and I'm flying out the door, I've been watching the clock since 1100 this morning!

Uli - you crack me up! I really just went to the party because it was at Natalie's house and she always has great food! AND makes the best homemade sangria! There was not enough sangria in me however to feel the need to order anything! Oh well, a life experience for sure, the woman that was the sales rep had things I couldn't even imagine what to do with! LOL

Ok Moms - I spend an unbelievable amount of time on the road with my job - one thing keeps me from driving around in circles, TomTom! My husband got him for me for Christmas last year and I cannot tell you how many times he's got me where I'm going! You do have to plug him into the computer now and again to update the roads and what not and he does get a little impatient when you miss a turn but otherwise I just love him! :0)

Very quiet night I see, too much good TV to choose from last night! LOL Myself, I attended a "Pleasure Party" at a friends house and dvr'd Grey's to watch tonight! After attending the party have decided I am a prude, not a single battery powered item or potion there that interested me in the least. Kind of felt like a kinky tupperware party, I felt obliged to purchase something but I just couldn't make myself do so! LOL

Wish either on of my sailors would show up unexpectedly. What wonderful surpirse!!
I wish I would go through menopause because I am soooo tired of the curse showing up!! I have PMS, DMS (during) and AMS (after)!! Now that we have an empty nest my poor husband has to take the brunt of it all!! Also I have the opposite problem right now...I am always freezing to death!! Even in the summer I have a blanket on when I watch TV!!

I am totally envious of anyone that has temps below 90 degrees right now! I love the summer, I really do, and I have no need for snow but I surely would enjoy a day in the 80's with maybe 50% humidity rather than the 90's and 100% humidity just for a little change of pace, not to mention a decent "hair day"! LOL

Thinking I must be on my way with the mean-o-pause myself. No hot flashes yet but as I am always cold I can hardly wait! Chestcicles and kankles, now that's an attractive thought! LOL!
