Hey Moms! I have been on pins and needles all evening! We're getting a Viszla puppy! After we lost our little Sofie Frank and I decided we'd give it some time and then try again, I did some research of breeds and just fell in love with the Viszla, only thing, there's only 3 reputable breeders of them in FL! Being involved in Dachshund rescue I was really hesitant to use a breeder unless I was absolutely certain they were responsible to their breed. Totally lucked out, this woman will only allow her dogs to be family pets, does very limited breeding and I'm pretty certain it might have been easier to adopt a human baby after being interviewed to determine if I was acceptable! I passed! We're expecting our little boy the first week of Nov, he was born on Sept. 5th! I can almost smell the puppy breath already!

So, my sailor called and he said he might not go right to Italy after his C-school graduation. I guess the powers that be in Italy have requested that he be trained in "optholmic" (eye surgery) sorry about the spelling! Anyway, he's not sure if he'll have to go to San Diego to the school there or if he will have OJT. I've not heard of going from one C-school right into another, has anyone else heard of this happening?

Thanks for info Gloria! I have 2 out of 4 - not too bad! I think it must be having to accept the fact that we will age that keeps us from dealing with such things. As for me, I'm only 24, no idea how I have kids that are as old as me! LOL!

Y'all will probably be grossed out by this but I'm going to share anyway. When the kids leave after a visit I just can't make myself go back to our in-laws quarters and clean it for at least a week. I just get too sad going back there. So - yesterday after work I finally made myself go back there and strip the beads and what not and my son left a card for me on the dresser! Awwwww.

Darsete - that's awsome! Congrats to your Sailor!
Kristine - I am SOOOOO jealous, we don't have a "Hobby Lobby" here! Didn't even know they existed until the week my son got married and it seemed I was in one about a dozen times! I am totally fascinated by all the craft stuff, some day I'm even going to know what to do with it! LOL!

Wow - I knew about the credit rating but didn't know about the tats. My son has a couple. He and his brothers have matching symbols on their arms that mean "brother" how original! And he has the name Kelly-Ann across his chest, Kelly is his dad's middle name, Ann is mine and he said that will be the name of his daughter some day. Otherwise pity the little boy to be known as Kelly-Ann! LOL

Have been trying to download pictures to share, been unsuccessful thus far, new program in my computer kind of sucks. The boys were great, I think the most fun they had was probably fishing - DJ caught a shark and was so excited! And I'm pretty certain I sent them back to school a few pounds heavier, so nice to have good healthy appetites around! And YES, I did feed them all kinds of southern redneck food! LOL!
