There's actually a very active FB group (over 500,000 members!) that posts lots of recipes for the IP.  If you do get one let me know and I can share some that I've tried.  They even make fabulous looking cheesecakes in it ~ although I haven't tried making them yet lol!   It's been fun cooking with it.

B's: Yes! I'm hearing lots about it from friends and neighbors! They seem to love it. I've been thinking about getting one too, the food and time-saving is apparently quite wonderful :)

Storymom - Have you ever heard of the "Instant Pot"?  It's actually the complete opposite of a crock pot - it's an electric pressure cooker.  I just got one a few months ago and have been having fun experimenting with it.  I do still have my crock pot though!

A recipe kids will eat! From: funnyisfamily.com
Cheesy Chicken Tater Tot Casserole
1 32 oz. bag frozen tater tots
2 cups cheddar cheese
13 oz. bag real bacon bits
1 pound chicken breasts (cubed)
3/4 cup milk
salt & pepper

1. Spray slow cooker insert with cooking spray, or use a slow cooker liner.
2. Add 1/3 tater tots in the bottom of the slow cooker, and top with 1/3 cheese and 1/3 bacon bits.
3. Layer on all the chicken, and sprinkle with salt & pepper
4. Add another 1/3 tater tots, bacon bits, and cheese.
5. Repeat that layer again.
6. Pour milk over the top.
7. Cook on low for 6-8 hours. * tips: try layering the chicken breasts in, not cubing it, just as yummy. corn might be a fun addition too.

Apple Jelly * great on crackers
12 Whole apples
6 Cups water
1.75 Oz. fruit pectin (1 box; such as Sure-Gel brand)
5 Cups granulated sugar
Put apples (cut or whole) and water in Crock-pot.
Cook on low for 8 hours or until apples are mushy.
Remove apples and place in the center of cheese cloth.
Hang cheese cloth with apples inside, over a bowl until no juice comes out.
Add 6 cups of juice back into crock-pot.
Heat on high for 1 hour.
Slowly add sugar and pectin stirring until dissolved.
Cook on high for 30 minutes.
Transfer mixture to cooking pot for stovetop. Cook on high until mixture comes to a rolling boil. Test mixture to see if it gels by putting some on spoon. Once mixture gels on spoon, fill Ball Jelly Jars with mixture. Set overnight until mixture thickens and sets.
