Choose your Username.  For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either).  Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username.  While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Make sure to read our Community Guidelines and this Navy Operations Security (OPSEC) checklist - loose lips sink ships!

Join groups!  Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself!  Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility. 

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.  

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Sorry, I haven't been on for awhile.  Yes, I had submitted a recipe for the second cookbook as well. I hope Linda was able to collect the number of recipes she needed for the next cookbook.

Wow, that's great P'nut & JAM!!  That is a long way off yet but will be here sooner than you think but yes it gives you time to save for the trip. Have a good trip in May!  OH, by the way, how is your Italian coming along?

Hurry up and get the passport P'nut & Jam because it takes a good two months to receive it after you order it.  At least it did me back in 2006.  Hope you have a good trip

Hello! I wanted to join your group because I really need to learn how to cook in my crockpot. My son just started at BC in GL, so I want to be able to create some new foods for him when he comes home on leave. Thanks!

Wow, going to Italy, huh?  Will you have any plans on going there to visit her and do you know Italian?

 

Yes, the cold air doesn't help to make me feel any better.  Just getting into the frig or freezer for something bothers me.
