OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Welcome Lisa-Chris's Mom & Mikesmom!! Thanks for joining!

Lisa, yes it does get easier as time goes by but we always miss them.
Feel free to post any of your recipes up above in the Discussion Forum.

Mikesmom, we are all here to support and encourage one another because most of us here have watched our loved ones leave home and go through the different stages from A School through their first, second, or third deployments. It will get easier as time goes by. Have you heard from your son yet? Feel free to view all the recipes up above in the Discussion Forum. Crockpot cookin' is pretty simple! There are quite a few easy recipes in fact I think most of them are. Check them out!

Hi Ladies!! I am Chris's mom, he has been in for almost 2-1/2 years and yes it is easier but still miss him like crazy!!

Anyway we DO use our crockpot all the time especially my husband as he's not working and is always trying something new, some great and some not so great LOL. I will discuss with him our favorites and send them along, hopefully they're not ones you've already tried :)

You're Welcome Ladies :) If you make the roast, it's so tender you can cut it with a fork.

I told my hubby, about this group, he said "Get to it"....lol I guess, I'll have to find him some recipes.
