Nita, tried your chili recipe you posted.
I have a 5qt and six cans of beans was a bit much so I only used five.
My hubby loved it but likes a little less beans. Four cans of beans is enough for us. I used ground turkey and sauteed half of a large onion, chopped, along with it but could of used a whole one. I put it together last night and let it simmer all night so that it would be ready by morning. After hubby had his bowl of cereal he ate two bowlfuls of the chili. Just made the cornbread to go along with it this evening. He loves chili with some good cornbread crumbled up in it.

I'll be trying the Breakfast Casserole next.

Thank you Carol & Welcome.

I always have chicken and the cream of mushroom soup around.
Sounds good over noodles.

Haven't read the back pages, but htis was a favorite from weight watchers days.

3-4 frozen chicken breasts
8 oz low fat sour cream
1 can low sodium, lo fat cream of mushroom soup
1 package dry onion soup mix

Place frozen chicken breats on bottom of crockpot.
in small bowl, stir together remaining ingredients.
pour over top of chicken.

Cooks 4-6 hours
serve with rice or noodles and favorite veggies.
For guys who like stroganoff or just lots of "gravy" --they will enjoy it with the sides a lot.

Great, thanks Carla!

My name is actually Karen but my initials are K.C. that is where my son got his name from. KC's name is not abbreviated though. But that's okay you can continue to call me by the name of KC. Have a great day!
