Just signed up yesterday, and I'm not sure if my son/s grad date is 2/4/11 for sure - that is what the recuriter told me when he left last Wed the 8th.  Recruiter told me to call him in a week to get confirmation of the grad date, and address, so I am waiting to call him, and for the letter, but if there is a faster way to get the info, I'd love to hear!  thank you!

Your doing a great job.

WOW Italy!! Thats great.

Still learning ins and outs, all i know is that my son will be on a submarine.

Asked the recruiter what exactly was his job description and he said he could'nt tell us. lol whatever that meant.

I'm sure i will learn all about it soon enough. One step at a time.

Hi everyone!  Just received my letter today...can't stop smiling even though it was just three small written lines from my daughter.  Anyone else in ship11 div060?

Ha Ha i bet!

Its going to take more getting used to on my end, than his i think.:)

How long has your son been in the Navy? You seem 'seasoned' about all this stuff.lol

Can you believe they are on their way??? For some weird reason, i keep thinking its going to be over after BC, i have to keep reminding myself that this is just the beginning.

My son is in for 5 years! Its kinda too much to think about at one time, is'nt it. lol

Karen, hi!! We are from Pennsylvania. And yes it is FREEZING here, although i hate to complain, i'm sure its worse where they are!.

Actually my son left on the 29th also, but ut was two days of recruiting office and MEPS until he actually arrived at BC on the 1st.

He arrived late in the evening and i didnt get my call home until the next day at 4:00 afternoon.

I slept with my phone in my hand!
