For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

As our recruits get furthur into bootcamp I thought that maybe some of the Moms in Division 818 PIR 9/2 would like to get more specific information. I'm brand new at this but thought I'd try and maybe some more knowledgable Mom's will help us.

Well, got home, had the dinner with the family members who could make it at about 1:30, now exhausted. Going to bed.....supposed to get down to 20's Saturday night......got to get everything winterized tomorrow and Saturday.....

Bama I know you are Happy :) I'm glad you heard from J. And I'm sure they don't care what shape their packages are in, they are just happy to get them! Good news that W can be home for the holidays!
kk... ufo's??!! My husband will be coming up to visit then... haha... he SOOOO thinks they are out there somewhere!! Cracks me up!

He called!!!! He called!!!! He called!!!! Yeah!!!!!!!!!!! They are in port for a few days, he still hasn't gotten his box (said it didn't matter what shape the brownies made it to him in, he was going to eat them--funny boy!!!).

KK - maybe they were UFOs??? I saw a special on the Space Station and photos and video that the astrodauts have taken from up there and one was of two UFOs flying directly into Earths atmosphere weird but really kewl too. man the earth is so lovely from up there... to bad it suck down here!!! I know what you mean about the holidays... I love Christmas this year cause this year will be the last for a while to see B man! next

Joe was feeling poorly yesterday, but a little better today, just weak. He was running to the toilet all day......
Goaty people are all fat and sassy, dogs are all healthy and running the place, my house is still unfinished.....
W looks to be home for New Years--looks like he will pass everything and has been assigned to report to Ft. Bragg, NC after jump training at Ft. Benning, GA--that starts Jan 13.
Going to get some blinds up in the bedroom instead of throwing blankets over them so I can get my nap before I leave for MS to work--will look better!! Will do some other winterizing as well to save some moolah on energy....doing that today. Have to go to P'cola cause Joe left his insulin set up for his insulin pump over there day before yesterday and he needs to change his site today....

Bama - good for W.... yea not sure about B and when at Christmas but he will be home for sure... just not sure of the dates.... yea teachers can make you or break you... too many of mine broke me and I grad a year early from HS ... hated it ... suprised I even went to college with the sour taste I had in my mouth... but it all worked out just fine!
