Div 818 PIR 9/2

As our recruits get furthur into bootcamp I thought that maybe some of the Moms in Division 818 PIR 9/2 would like to get more specific information. I'm brand new at this but thought I'd try and maybe some more knowledgable Mom's will help us.

Yeah, I understand that about having the two together.....With W in the Army (and he's the one who needs to pass EVERYTHING! In Intel school in AZ) and J in the Navy and deployed.....It may be years and years before I see them at the same time or they see each other......

No, things around here are no where near finished, but the idea I came up with allows us to work in a covered area cutting and prepping things and keeps all the materials out of the weather......keep us from having to repurchase something because it gets damaged from the rain or termites....

Yes, where is everyone?????????

Well, happy Thursday everyone...

KK - woooow two weeks with no horthey time?  I cant believe it.  However, it has been so DARN hot here that I have not ridden in about three months... uggg - hope I remember how hahahahah!  KK - how is your sketching coming along?

Bama - woooow, so things are really hoppin right along with your new diggs and soon it will all be done.  The goaties shall be soooo happy and you will tooo!  Of course we are always praying for each others kiddos!  Praying that J passes everything with flying colors...

Kelly - where the heck are ya darlin?  Pamom?  Richsmom? Trisha? Roxanne, Rsmom?  EVERYONE- Id hate to see this die out even tho I now we are all on FB too..  still I like it here also just cause!!!!  We been here a long time together!

My B is working, flying and surfing and HAPPY - he is studying to get his letter for the Academy College program..  he has two sponsors - Aunt Capt. MaryBeth and Capt Don Worm...  excellent sponsors..  but it will all take time..  and he has chosen EOD after he gets out..  so we shall see...   for now - all I care about is he thinks he will get leave at Christmas and I will get to see him and H together once again!  Who knows when that will ever happen again!!!!   Yippie

Yes, kk, we DO love them so much!!!!

So glad to hear from you and Lydia......was beginning to think we were falling away now that it's been over 2 years......I love my sisters!!!

W is working hard and doing well so far.......please keep praying for him!!! He has to pass EVERYTHING!!!!

Went to see the movie "2016--Obama's America" and I'm looking forward to seeing the movie that will be out soon "The Hope and the Change". I highly encourage everyone to go see them for educational purposes.......

Got home this morning and took a nap, then worked hard outside. I came up with a way to get all the building materials organized and protected from the weather and we have been working on that since last week. There is no longer a pile of lumber in my front yard!!!!  Thankfully the only wood that was termite damaged was old wood that had already been taken out, none of the new stuff. There is an open carport that could hold two vehicles if it were set up right (it isn't), but we have now built shelves and put all the lumber on the shelves. Had to make it high enough the goats can't jump up on it, too. The structure is 16 feet wide and about 20 feet long. We will put shelves under one side of the shelf we made (they will be about 1 or 1 1/2 feet space between so the goats still can't get in/on the shelves) and put little things on them. the other side will have the motorcycle (just the little 250 cc is here at the house--the Harley is in Baker so it's not in this sand!!!) and the lawn tractor under that shelp and cover them with a tarp--that will keep the goats off them and get the tractor out of the goat barn area.......then there is an open area that we can turn into a staging area for the construction stuff--set up the saws, etc. All this will help in the long run when we start putting the addition on the back of the house (ie, when I finally get my kitchen!!!).

Joe has a prostate biopsy on Friday. He probably has beginning CA as his PSA has been going up for 3 years and the exam is abnormal this time--but we are catching it early. I looked up all the treatment options and he's even picked the one he wants. It's using the radiation pellets, but using high dose ones that only go in for a little bit 3 times over a 24 hr period. When he is done, he is truly done. He won't be radioactive and the treatment should be complete. Has the least amount of side effects. His dad had the more aggressive form of prostate CA and had let it go way too long when it was found (typical man wouldn't go to the doctor), so he had to have the radical surgery and then radiation a year later cause it came back. That's why Joe wants to treat it NOW!!! So that's part of what we've been dealing with, too. He is tired and I wonder if it's not because the CA is draining him.....

Well, I didn't mean to write a book!!!  Hope you are all well.....

Love my sister-Prayer Warrior Moms!!!!

Welcome back from the Holiday, ladies!!!!  I think we need a role-call!!!!  Where is everyone???????

W is doing better than he expected--I just keep praying he passes everything and keeps going--if he fails anything, he is out!!!

Yeah, he called last minute--found out he had been doing 3 jobs--one that was for a much higher class because he was filling in until they got more guys in open slots for the deployment--and one job had him on days and one on nights............he was one tired puppy!!!  He was actually glad they were pulling out cause they got two guys in the two days before they left who could take the higher class job off his hands and he only does Security when they are in port, so he's back down to one job and can get some rest!!!!

Love you guys!!!!! Hope you are all well and back at work!!!
