As our recruits get furthur into bootcamp I thought that maybe some of the Moms in Division 818 PIR 9/2 would like to get more specific information. I'm brand new at this but thought I'd try and maybe some more knowledgable Mom's will help us.

Wow!!!! Where is everyone????
Have a wonderful Labor Day weekend!! I'll be working Sun/Mon.....oh, well. J will be gone already......
He called!!! He called!!! He called!!! He only has a few days before they are pulling out on full deployment. He is going to call tomorrow and every day until they leave--he promised!!!
He talked to his brother, too. Oh happy day!!!
Did spend 3 full days at the hospital in lockdown.... no power loss. Was some really bad weather---7 tornado warnings yesterday!!!
Hope you all had a great week!!!
Happy Hump Day friends:))) The 3 day weekend is calling me.... couple more days....
Bama - =( Im so sorry - I know that our children struggle to become adults out on their own and only until they become a parent will they ever understand the pain we go through. Im glad at least W is staying close and in touch! Looks like yall will not get as much of the Storm as first indicated but who knows.. so glad you are preparing!
Happy Sonday my daffodiles!!! =P
At least got the info wrong.....they are pulling out tomorrow. Still haven't heard from J....getting calls from W most every night. He is studying hard and doing lots of PT. He has to meet 18 yr old standards for the airborne part and also acclimating to 4000 ft elevation--he's working very hard!!! He is noticing lots of positive things though and I think he has fallen right into the place he will SHINE!!! He has found so much stuff that he had learned from the video games he did applies--he liked Call of Duty most and it is based on real military weapons and situations. Anyway, he's doing better and better but needs LOTS of prayers!!! Now if only J would call...........
Just read on the Stennis site that they are manning the rails.....pulling out of Bremerton. J got into a snit and hasn't been in touch in 4 weeks, now he's going out.......I'm heart-broken cause he did this. Just bawling...........how can our children hurt us like this???? Just cause he decided we hadn't "turned him loose" and all we wanted was to know he was OK and hear him before he was gone..............we have "turned him loose" but that doesn't mean we don't want to know whats going on and hear from him.
Keeping my eyes and ears open....may have to spend some "quality" time at the hospital if it head to MS.....
Got back yesterday. so much to do trying to get everything ready if Isaac heads this way......
Lydia, I'm so very sorry about Elka!!!
