Choose your Username.  For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either).  Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username.  While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Make sure to read our Community Guidelines and this Navy Operations Security (OPSEC) checklist - loose lips sink ships!

Join groups!  Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself!  Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility. 

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.  

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

As our recruits get furthur into bootcamp I thought that maybe some of the Moms in Division 818 PIR 9/2 would like to get more specific information. I'm brand new at this but thought I'd try and maybe some more knowledgable Mom's will help us.

kk I know that feeling...yuk! I would prefer to be on a permanent vacation!!  My husband is on vacation Friday and all of next week... me?? I have to go to work:(  He has so much more vacation time then I do!

Have a supercalafrajalistic day girls!!!!!!!!!!!

and... I am pretty sure I spelled that ALL wrong! haha

Hi my friends!  Home from Quantico...S graduated PLC & it's great to have him HOME after 6wks down there, we are so very proud of him!  He heads back to school on Thursday...so the house will be quiet again.  :(   K is doing well & wrapping up his NC gig soon, he can't wait to get back out to CA!

I have been very sad hearing all the news over the last week also...we need to get out troops OUTTA THERE NOW!!!

W and Joe just before we had to leave him.....he flew out of Oklahoma City for Ft. Hauchuka in Arizona during the wee hours of the morning.....he has grown SO much!!!
