Div 818 PIR 9/2

As our recruits get furthur into bootcamp I thought that maybe some of the Moms in Division 818 PIR 9/2 would like to get more specific information. I'm brand new at this but thought I'd try and maybe some more knowledgable Mom's will help us.

KK- hooooyaaaaa and go 3 and G.....   have fun sista and enjoy your time off

Bama....  OMG cant believe it is BC grad already almost....  gosh.. I feel old these days hahaha   Goatie pin sounds great...  lucky house sitters!!!!  =D

Good morning!!! Now in the serious planning stages for the trip to BC grad on the 17th. We have family day on the 16th, so Joe is picking me up when I get off the morning of the 15th in Gulfport and we will leave from there. Also means we have to do a loop and go back there to pick up the Jeep on the way back. Oh well.....but getting excited about seeing him. When he called last Sunday, he sounded so much more mature....

Having a young couple come house and goat sit for us while we are gone. They drink a lot of the goat milk, so thought it would be good for them to do it--they get to drink as much as they want!!!  They have a 3 yo and a 3 month old and the 3 yo LOVES the goat milk!!!  Anyway, got to get them over here and teach  them everything, make sure they can milk the girls and know to keep Zeus and the girls apart. Not doing any breeding until middle of Oct to first of Nov--that will be Dottie and Gracie and they will be bred to be due in March/April. Maggie and Dixie will be bred in the spring for Oct/early Nov births next fall. Going to see if I can't get a paddock together for Zeus and his chosen concubines for when they are to have access to each other. Thinking about making it a portable one so it can be moved around and make sure they always have plenty to eat. Takes ingenuity!!!!

Haven't heard from J again the rest of this week. I know he is trying to get ready for them to leave Bremerton, but I wish he would be in some kind of contact. After they leave SD on deployment, we only hear from him very sporadically. He works such long hrs, he says he is working, eating or sleeping all the time. They start at 0900 and he frequently doesn't get through til 0100, then start all over at 0900 again. Anyway, he is so tired he doesn't want to wait in line to use the computer to email us, so we don't hear much--have to cling to "no news is good news".  That's why I wish he would be in touch more while he's still in Bremerton.

Well, got a very busy day ahead........have a great Friday and weekend, sisters!!!

KK - yea for vaca.... are you going anywhere or just playing with the hortheys?

Bama - Glad J called.  Now perhaps he knows not to wait so long but to find a phone somewhere and get to you!  haha     Wouldnt that be too kewl if they did wind up on the same ship!!!!

Hi everybody!!! J FINALLY called on Monday evening. He sent me an email on Sunday, but that was after we called the Ombudsman to check on him on Saturday!!!  He was mad at me for the call, but had to back down cause his Dad is the reason the call was made!!!!!!!! We were just getting real concerned.

He is super busy cause they are resurfacing the flight deck for the deployment middle of this month--in fact, less than two weeks!!! They apparently cancelled the liberty he was going to have and he's about to get 3 days here real soon. He needs it cause he's got to get all his supplies ready (loads of socks, underwear, etc.). He will be taking the phone--which is stuck in boot mode (reboots over and over) to Verizon to get it fixed. We will call him when we get to W in OK on the 16th cause he should still be in SD picking up the planes. W really wants to speak to him before he is gone.

Also, found out W goes to a base in Arizona for intel training 16-17 weeks the day after graduation--another Grad-N-Go!!!  Remember that??? Then he will be off a little bit around the holidays and go to Ft Benning for jump training. Also, he will most likely be stationed on--------an aircraft carrier!!!!!!!!! J is already speculating that they may wind up on the Stennis together!!!!! Wowwwww!!!

Trying to get everything in order for the trip--it's just a little over two weeks away.........

Love you ladies!!!  Glad all the motorcycle guys are going to make it--I was really praying for that!!  Glad you got rain pamom; we've been getting it off and on. But real hot too, so can we say HUMID or SAUNA??????

Got to get some sleep to go back to work tonight--it's my FRIDAY!!!! Go home in the AM!!!

The tatoo on the the soldiers arm.... That was the psalm D prayed before every wrestling match he had.... :))  I imagine he carried it over to all his SWCC training as well. :)   Sweet memories, all those matches, just loved to watch him wrestle :)

Have a great day, girls!
