As our recruits get furthur into bootcamp I thought that maybe some of the Moms in Division 818 PIR 9/2 would like to get more specific information. I'm brand new at this but thought I'd try and maybe some more knowledgable Mom's will help us.

KK - that is one reason we stay active with our care packages.... I hve actually had some sailors (not front line Afgan) email me that if they had not gotten a box from us they might have jumped or done something drastic... sheeeeesh.. you just never know.... Im still in touch with them even tho now they are state side... I wish I could do more ... ugggggg my heart bleeds over this! I always ask the kids to let me know if there are any kids who are depressed or get nothing from home... one sailor gave me a kids name...we sent him three boxes... he was in shock but it worked... so sad to think soo many kids have NO ONE who cares about them... well, anyhoooo its good for our kids... they are loved!!!! waaaay!

My brother starts his new job tomorrow!!!! And S is already working!! Things are going well for them and my nieces have taken to S real well. J is still reeling saying, “My uncle…..my ex-girlfriend. My uncle….my ex-girlfriend” over and over. Still weirds him out!!!!!!!!

We desperately need rain!!! And I really don't think we are going to be getting it anytime soon:( We are in the midst of another heatwave that is supposed to last well into next week. My grass crunches when you walk on it!!
Hope you all have a terrrific day! I can't wait till Friday.... I'm tired of working!! haha!
Wooooow - good afternoon sistas
Trisha - Im glad you are here with us... we have had " our" little girl on our minds for sure! I know she will do stellar as CKH use to say...she is strong and beautiful and knows what she is doing! I know that does not help us mammas tho.. B man will deploy soon too so I know how you and Bama are feeling. Like Bama - im wishing that Ill have one more time this year with him... but just not sure and it has already been since Dec 2011 that I have seen his beautiful blue eyes and crazy funny smile!
Pamom - cant wait for pictures.. you must be exhausted but also HIGH!
KK- thats right we must keep up with the three boats... and then when B goes we will have a 4th one Im thinking.... not sure yet of course.
Well, thank the LORD we have had TONS of rain... do yall rememeber this time last year here we were literally on fire.... love yallllll
Good morning!!! A little better over the shock of everything now. They will be out til next April, so we won't have seen him for over a year again when they get in and he gets leave. About the time W is going on his first deployment..............
Thanks for being there yesterday!!! I'm so glad I'm not alone in this!!!
Trisha, glad you know she is safe on board!!!
Looking forward to pic, pamom!! I know you will treasure the time with all of them together!! That's the stuff we Moms hold dear in the heart!!
Love you guys!!
Hi girls!!! Sorry I have been out of the loop for awhile :) The wedding was awesome and so much fun. It was really great to see all 3 boys together and having a blast. It was fun to watch them. D and A had a great time here in PA. We took them to the airport on Friday... this was the last time we will see him for over a year. :( He will deploy in the next few months.
Bama sorry to hear you won't get to spend the holidays with your son.. it is hard when they are away for so long.
Kelly, kk, Lydia, R's mom, Rox, Trisha.... hope you are all having a great Monday. :))
I hope to get some photo's up next week of the wedding!!
