As our recruits get furthur into bootcamp I thought that maybe some of the Moms in Division 818 PIR 9/2 would like to get more specific information. I'm brand new at this but thought I'd try and maybe some more knowledgable Mom's will help us.

Happy TGIF everyone!!!!
Well, more than Washington got slammed by that storm! I finally heard from my grandson in WV... they are okay but tons of damage in that state and many others... my brothers home in north Florida too! All are well tho and thats all that matters!!!! Things can be replaced! =) LOVE AND HUGS everyone!!!!
Happy Freedomday, sisters!!!
I think the folks in WDC need to be paying attention to the Creator who gave us our rights..........them turning their back on Him might be why they got hit by that storm---course it coming the day after the SCOTUS decision was just coincidence, right???? Sorry you and Mo got caught in it, Roxanne!!! Really glad you are OK!!!
Off next week!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! YEAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Been storming here this morning, but may be starting to let off. Will probably clear up some by lunch, then STEAMY I bet the rest of the day!!!!
Heard from J yesterday--they were headed out for two weeks of training with the flight squads. Said when they were training last week, they had over 300 launches between 0900 and 2200 on one day............and he was on the flight deck the whole time...........whew!!!! Just praying he's safe this next two weeks-- ya'll remember what happened last year with that engine blowing up........At least he's not doing that particular job now--he's one of the guys driving the tractors moving the planes around.
Have a fun and safe weekend!!!!!!!! Love ya!!!!!!
kk, Thank you for the info, everyone kept telling me there was a name for the storm but no one could tell me the name. I have never in my life seen lightening like I saw that night, it was like something out of a horror movie. Not just one or two bolts the whole sky lit up with lightening crossing each other all over the sky. It looked like a web. And it just kept on coming. I think Mo was in shock. Our house got hit by a water funnel in 2001. T, Mo and I were home huggy was working and it sounded like a freight train was heading our way. It was just like a tornado, lots of damage to our house and Mo was 6 yrs old. She was traumatized by that storm, she would worry every time it stormed for years after that. Saw that same look on her face when that storm hit. Paralyzing fear!!
Yes Lydia it was scary!
