Choose your Username.  For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either).  Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username.  While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Make sure to read our Community Guidelines and this Navy Operations Security (OPSEC) checklist - loose lips sink ships!

Join groups!  Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself!  Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility. 

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.  

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

As our recruits get furthur into bootcamp I thought that maybe some of the Moms in Division 818 PIR 9/2 would like to get more specific information. I'm brand new at this but thought I'd try and maybe some more knowledgable Mom's will help us.

Lydia, don't worry---it's time to put back on our Prayer Warriors armor!!!!

Back home in the AM after get off work................will be working next week, then off a week to get stuff done at home (clean up/out all the stuff left over from folks that have now moved on........work on more construction............etc, etc...... prepare a sermon for 7/17---pray for me, sisters!!!)

Bama.. wooow Aug 17 will be here before you know it as we know..!!!!!  sounds like a great trip!

yes B man was raised running the beaches of FL...  he knows about electrolytes and water for sure and Im sure that the instructors will help with that..their Squadron leaders are different than the BC RDCs.. not that they were bad of course!!!!!!  I told him that TX is 107 in the shade now and 90 % humidity...  he was kewl with it...  nite nite sis!!!  Hows the new home and the "kids"????

KK - sheeesh I know...  its getting closer and closer to the TRUE end of this total pipeline..  which ends with his wings..  but I miss the good old days honestly...  now I  going over to the sand box....  well, he is not worried so I should not be either...  yea right hahahahaha

Hi everyone!!!  W's grad date is Aug 17.  We will be headed to OK for that then down to DFW to see some of my family. May swing through AR and see my sister then to north AL and see S and my brother and mother......will be our only trip of the year, so why not make it a big one!!!

J's on the way to SD ...........

B needs to be careful out in the hot desert---hydrate, hydrate, hydrate (that goes for all my sisters in the heat, too!!!!)

woooooooooooooow where are we all???   Well, its Hot MOMday...  Im burning up and my AC is struggling to keep up as it is 105 outside...  here we go again.  Was hoping for some of that rain ...  not happening!

Good Sonday everyone!!!  Just chillaxin here...  hot and humid and looks like some tropical rain heading our way... 

Yall, check out my FB wall - I just put some of the cutest pix of B man and his Navy buddies from the church..  participating in the Pacific Beach street fair...  sooo cute!!!!
