Information

Div 818 PIR 9/2

As our recruits get furthur into bootcamp I thought that maybe some of the Moms in Division 818 PIR 9/2 would like to get more specific information. I'm brand new at this but thought I'd try and maybe some more knowledgable Mom's will help us.

Hi Janet, I have NOT heard that! That makes me very nervous. My husband is in the diver program as well and I do know the division is Grad and Go. However, my understanding was that they could check into GL for dive prep after PIR and then they were off for the weekend, I am not sure about Monday. Now, I have yet to hear this directly from my husband so I will wait to hear and then confirm. Did your son tell you that he would not be able to see you at all after Thursday??? I am not going to freak until I hear from my husband but if you have any further info please let me know and I will do the same. Thanks

Thank you everyone, Still waiting for daughter to get up, teenagers. Swanksmom, my son is in SWCC, not sure if he is grad and go. I asked him, but I haven't heard from him. I know he is getting lots of letters, probably feels like he should write everyone back. I told him he only had to write to me, Dad and sis and his grandparents. LOL Not changing my plans even if he is grad and go. Still would like to know, does anyone else have a recruit going to SWCC school? We will be there 1st to the 5th. Pray everyone gets a good letter today.

My son's last letter said he would only be able to spend Thursday with us as a Grad n Go. Has anyone else who have loved ones in the diver program been told this as well?

Good morning to everyone.. Have a couple of days off of work and I am heading to Baltimore with my daughter (she's not driving that beltway is a killer) to visit her grandparents, my in-laws ,before school starts. They don't have WIFI so it's hard to leave the computer,I will miss you all. I will take my laptop. Since I live for the letters, it's hard to leave home even for a few days I might miss one. I am going to go for it. Everyone take care. Praying for all, talk to you Sat night or Sunday. Roxanne
